Mr. Eugene C. Booty

Eugene was born on February 4, 1942 in Panola County, Texas  to the parentage of Mr. Buford and Pearl Hicks Booty.

Eugene was the eleventh of twelve children.  He joined Bethel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Beckville, Texas in his youth and attended Fruit of the Spirit Ministry in Midlothian, Texas with his daughter Bridget and her children over the past year, under the pastoral care of Pastor Marvin Clayton. 

Eugene served his country in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966.  After his military service, he worked various occupations until his health declined and he became disabled.

He was known for his domino skills, telling it like it is, and his humorous way with words.   

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Pearl Hicks Booty; grandson, Kevie Richards; siblings, Buford Booty, Jr., Troy Booty, Mildred Carter, Jerolyn Cole, Dorothy Ingram, Earlene Johnson, Elease Lindsay, Opal McDaniel, Zelphia Sanders, Helen Spencer. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Bridget Booty and Sherrilynn Richards; granddaughters, Zori Clark and Dennisia Emery; grandsons, Quinton Clark, Keith Richards, Jr., Timothy Dixon, Jr., Henry Johnson; sister, Lenora Trimble; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
