Milton Ray "Big Hand" Feggett

It is written that when life begins, it is like an open book with many blank pages.  Each day as we live, our deeds are recorded page by page until we close our eyes in what is called death and await that great awakening morning.

The pages of this book began for Brother Milton Feggett when he was born on a cold Saturday, afternoon December 21, 1935, to the late Mr. Joseph and Willie Mae Feggett in Harrison County.  He attended school at Mount Enterprise.  He joined church at an early age.  He worked at Brown & Root as a Laborer.

Milton had 3 siblings to precede him in death; Charles Feggett JoAnn Wyatt, both of Dallas, Texas and Pauline Taylor of Hallsville, Texas; 3 sons, Dennis Feggett, Darryl Feggett & Nicholaus Richardson, all of Longview, Texas.  

The final pages of the book on Mr. Milton Ray Feggett were written on Thursday, November 28, 2019.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his soulmate, Vernette Haynes of Gilmer, Texas; one daughter, Theresa (Bobby) Feggett of Calumet City, Illinois; three sons, Charles (Ericka) Feggett, Tony ( Archila) Richardson of Longview, Texas, and Micheal Feggett of Ronake, Virginia; one sister, Eva Lois Hawkins of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Joe Willis Feggett, Horace ( Joyce) Feggett and Welton ( Viola) Feggett, all of Dallas, Texas; a group of grandchildren, a host of nieces and great nieces, nephews and great nephews and loving relatives and friends.
