Mr. Wilson Haynes, Jr. was born on December 18, 1949 to the parents, Wilson and Patsy Sebron Haynes, in Longview, Texas. He was affectionately known by his family as "Baby Haynes."
Wilson, Jr. accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was baptized at Galilee Baptist Church, in Longview, Texas.
Wilson, Jr. grew up helping his daddy in the family business, Ebony Cleaners. He attended public school in Longview, TX. He attended Womack High School and graduated with the Class of 1968. He was a star athlete that excelled and broke many records. He was an All-State Left Half Back/ Running Back for the Mighty Womack Leopards. He also played basketball and was a track star. In his Sophomore year, he ran the 100-yard dash in 9.9 seconds.
At the time of Wilson, Jr's passing, he was married to Amanda Whiting Haynes. They were married July 31, 2013 in Longview, Texas.
Wilson, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Patsy Sebron Haynes; maternal grandparents, Eldred and Canary Sebron; and paternal grandparents, Walter and Iola Haynes.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Amanda Haynes; his caring son, Gabriel Sublett; step-son, Joshua Jefferson; grandson, JeVon Kennard; sister/cousin, Phyllis Sebron Lomax (Hershel); mother-in-law, Patricia Riddle; special friends, James (Jambo) Washington and Rosie Sebron; and a host of loving Haynes and Sebron Family member and dear friends.
