Ms. Alla Faye Tate-Parker

Alla Faye Parker was born on January 30, 1948, to Willie and Lillian Tate. She attended Bruce School in Gilmer, Texas.

She married Earl “Pete” Parker, and to this union two daughters were born, Aleshia and Chand.

On October 19, 2019, Mrs. Parker transitioned from labor to reward. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Pete” Parker; parents, Willie and Lillian Tate; sisters, Lou Ann Tate, Lois Buchanan, and Brenda Tate; brothers, Leroy Tate, Lavoy Tate, and Lonnie Tate; and grandchild, A’Tionna Granville.

She is survived by her daughters, Aleshia (Marlon) Granville and Chanda Parker, both of Gilmer, Texas; brothers, Robert “Bob” Tate and Artis Tate, both of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Cybahni Parker, JaMareon Granville, Tiereney Granville, Jaybren Hart, Jairadin Granville, Phoenix Hart, and Paisley Hart;  brother-in-law, Thomas Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.
