Ms. Christine H. McKenzie

Ms. Christine H. McKenzie was born on July 8, 1959 in Henderson County, Texas to Vertis and Erma Hambrick.  She attended Brownsboro High School where she later graduated. 

Christine was preceded in death by parents, Vertis and Erma Hambrick; two sisters, Daisy Warren and Alfreda Johnson; three brothers, Vertis Hambrick, Charles Hambrick and Tracy Sowells.

Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Kristy and Angelia McKenzie; eight grandchildren, Calvin Vaughn, Kiauntis McKenzie, Jadavian Henry, Ta'Corian Simmons, Ty'Shiana Hawkins, Khalya Simmons, Aaron Sears, Makel Sears; five great grandchildren; a husband of many years, Carl McKenzie; a special young man, Darrell Ray, Jr., whom she spoke of as her son; brother, Alphonso Hambrick; two sisiters, Patricia Woods and Barbara Davis; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
