Winfred Franklin

Winfred Franklin, was born May 24, 1938 in Troup, Texas to the late Wayne and Laura Franklin. He attended school in Arp, Texas. 

Winfred married Helen Washington, to their union 3 children were born, one daughter preceded him in death

Mr. Franklin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a welder for many years before retiring. 

On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, Winfred transitioned from labor to reward at 8:27 p.m. He will be reunited in Heaven with his parents, Wayne and Laura Franklin; daughter, Shelia Bryant; and brothers, James, L.C., Wardrey, Lynn, Lindsey, Jethro, and W.C. Franklin.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Wife, Helen Franklin; sons, William (Nancy) Franklin and Donnie Paul Franklin; brothers, J.C. (Gloria) Franklin and Charles Franklin; sisters, Malora Johnson, Gladys Butler, and Mary Isabell; Five Grandchildren, Nine Great-Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
