Alfred Gregory Belle

Mr. Alfred Gregory Belle was born in Longview, Texas, February 5, 1956, to the late Alfred Jim Belle and Mozelle Morris Belle. He was the fifth of eight children. Alfred attended Longview High School; following high school, he joined the Army.

Mr. Belle worked for Towne Lake Homeowners Association for many years, until he retired. On August 29, 1986, he married Angela Jones- Belle. They raised four children, Ja’Mar (NaTarsha) Toombs, Brittany (Dexter) Sparkman, Tracey (Dont’e) Shepard, and Ashley Belle.

Alfred is preceded in death by his mother, Mozelle Morris Belle; father, Alfred Jim Belle; sister, Sandra Kay Jordan; and grandson, Keithan Nicori Toombs.

Among those left to share a lifetime of memories are his wife, of 37 years, Angela Belle; three sisters, Linda (Tommie Lee) Austin, Mary Jordan, and Sheila (Lonnell) Hodge; three brothers, Woodrow Pierce, Moses Bell, and Stelvin Bell; six grandchildren, Christopher Toombs, Kelion Toombs, Sean Toombs, Jayden Smith, Jazzlynn Simms, and Caleb Toombs; one grandbaby girl on the way, Ashton Grace Shepard; three great grandchildren, Arianna Owens-Toombs, Zayan Smith, and Arianna Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
