Mrs. Alice Drucille Coates was born on April 1, 1937 to Bessie Price. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walker Coates; mother, Bessie Price of California; brother, Joe Price of California; grandson, Jeremy Coates of Longview; and Bryan Price of California.
Mrs. Coates worked for "Dillards" of Longview, Texas for 20 years in sales, and also the Antique Shop in Gladewater, Texas.
She leaves to cherish many precious memories two sons, Voe Coates of Longview, and David Coates of Hainsville; sisters, Lea Stueve of California, and Sara Kelley of Iowa; Three grandchildren Jennifer Koehler of White Oak, Michael and Rebecca Coates of Hainsville; five great grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
