Almaz Natu

Almaz Natu was a caring mother, wife, sister, and friend. She unfortunately, left this world on May 18, 2022, at age 55. She was born in Asmara, Eritrea on August 1, 1966. After graduating from high school, Almaz chased her dreams of traveling the world, and it was during her time abroad, specifically in Athens, Greece, she met her former husband, Yednekachew “Nick” Worke. Together, they had 2 children: Tinsai “Tina” Worke and Dagmawit “Demi” Worke.

Almaz, as a mom, wife, sister, or expat loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her friends and family. Strangers and neighbors alike would gather around, united by the presence of Almaz. Her bigger than life attitude and bright smile was a home not dependent on any physical location, and she will be dearly missed by her coworkers, friends, and family.
