Andre L. Tims was born on May 17, 1960, in Lufkin, Texas, to Lillie Lee Tims. As the firstborn child, Andre carried a strong spirit and a quiet determination that would follow him throughout his life.
He attended Alto High School in Alto, Texas, where he discovered his talent for welding, a skill that would later become his profession. Andre worked for several years as a welder at Texas Foundry and later in Arizona, where life blessed him with meeting the love of his life, Marcia Lee Tims.
Andre had a deep love for music and was well known in his younger years for his time as a DJ. Music brought him joy and allowed him to connect with others through laughter, rhythm, and unforgettable memories.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Lillie (Tims) Anderson, and his wife, Marcia (Lee) Tims.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Vanessa Aldridge Barnes (Jeremiah); his sisters, Demetria Anderson and Viola (Anderson) Moreland; and his treasured grandchildren, JaVante, Jakhail, Jacarian, and JaKaylyn Barnes.
He also leaves behind his nephews Tommy Williams Jr. and William Anderson; his nieces Jasmine Davis and Raiven Craig; his great nieces ZaMiyah McCoy, Leilani Craig, and Royalty Smith; along with a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Andre will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for music, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him.
