Monday, May 26, 1941, in Douglass, Texas, Dorsey and Perlina Upshaw welcomed a sweet baby girl and perfectly named her Annie Lee Upshaw.
Annie would later blossom into a loving, caring, and gentle woman, having a devoted dedication to caring for her children, Linda, Dora, and Jessica. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a woman of faith and lived a life that was dedicated to Christ. A faithful member of the Church of Christ religion, who loved to serve in any capacity that she could.
God softly spoke to Annie on Monday April 15, 2024, and told her to come on home. Like the devoted Christian that she was, she answered His call and traded her labor for reward.
Annie leaves a legacy of love to be cherished by her daughters, Linda Wallace, Dora Blanton, and Jessica Wallace; six grandchildren, sisters, Sweetie Upshaw and Lula Upshaw; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
