Obituary
Born July 5, 1929, in Torrance County New Mexico and passed away January 1, 2023, at the age of 93 at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She retired from the New Mexico Bureau of Land Management in the late nineties.
Bernie, as most of her friends called her, was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Creagar; parents, William E and Willie Bell Harper; stepmother, Mildred Harper; brothers, Herman Harper, Boyd Harper, Billy Harper and Charles Harper; a son, Gary Cupp; and daughter, Jaydine McMahan.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Patricia) Cupp, of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Donald Cupp, of Lewisville, Texas, and Michael McMahan of Stinnett, Texas; daughter, Judy (Daniel) Hilger, of Faragut, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
She will be buried next to her mother at Lucy New Mexico.
