Bettye Jean Hopson Thomas

Bettye Jean Hopson Thomas was born on July 14, 1952, in Longview, Texas to Lucious and Ora Hopson.

She was a 1970 graduate of Pine Tree High School. She worked in the healthcare profession for 32 years loving to take care of others. She loved Jesus Christ and loved spending time with family and going to eat. 

She was preceded in death by both parents, Ora and Lucious Hopson; sister, Mary Katherine; and brother, Bobby Hopson. 

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Thomas Writt of Coppell, Texas; sons, Alvin Thomas of Longview, Texas, Marlon Thomas, Cedric Thomas of Fredricksburg, Virginia; sister, Vivian Greene of Dallas, Texas; brother, Luther (Danty) Hopson of Palenstine, Texas; grandchildren, Donovan Thomas, DeLandrick Writt, Nicholas Writt, Trinity Writt, Raven Rodriguez, Elijah Thomas, McKinley Thomas, Ayden Thomas, Tristan Thomas, Victoria Thomas, Scarlett Thomas, and Liam Thomas; great grandchildren, Layla, Cashas, Amiyah, Londyn, and Cruz .
