Christine Lillian Neil was born to the late William Roy and Ollie Ruth Neil on January 30, 1958 in Oxnard, California. She was and is loved by many.
She was a kind-hearted loving soul that looked out for everyone, especially her grandchildren. Christine was such a strong and loving woman, all the way until God called her home. She will always be remembered for her spunkiness. Chris loved the outdoors, gardening and even needlecraft. She just had to always be doing something.
Christine was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Steve Ellis Key on July 20, 2001. By his side, she was a loyal member of the Kool Ridez Corvette Club.
She was also a member of the Red Oak Baptist Church of Longview, Texas where the Reverend Homer C. Rockmore, Sr. was her pastor.
On Sunday, August 1, 2021 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas, our sunshine faded away and Christine accepted God's call into life eternal.
Her memories are cherished by her children: Joshua [Tia] Fulton, Sandy [Kelvin] Jackson, Archie Gaines, Jared Shaw, Keneen Shaw, Justin Shaw, Laci [Paul] Neil; one step-son, Stevland Key; her brother, Roy [Natalie] Neil; brothers-in-law, Bobby R. [Alice] Key and Carvis L. [Virginia] Key; sister-in-law, Marilyn Key Hollins; fifteen grandchildren, and many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
