D'Kalyn "DK" Stephens

D’Kalyn “DK” Stephens, was born on March 14, 2004 to Deverell Stephens and Ashley Henderson in Longview, Texas.  On Monday, May 26, 2025, he departed this life surrounded by his loving family.

"DK" confessed Christ and gave his life to the Lord at a young age at the Parkview Baptist Church.  There, he remained a faithful servant until the Lord called him home.  He served in the youth ministry as an usher, choir member, and later became a part of the media team.  He completed his academic journey at Longview ISD schools attending South Ward  Elementary, Forest Park Middle School, and graduated from Longview High School in 2022.  "DK" participated in baseball, soccer, football and basketball in his youth. "DK" was a faithful employee at Aaon Coil and Hibbett Sports.

D’Kalyn was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Joe Stephens; great-grandmother, Merle McGee; grandmother, Phyllis Stoker; uncle, Brandon Benton; and cousin, Ladarius Hodge.

D’Kalyn’s loving memories will forever be cherished by his dad, Deverell Stephens (Tiffany); mother, Ashley Henderson (Jeff);  great-grandmother, Helen Stephens;  brothers, Demadre Stephens, D’Kyrian Henderson and Londyn Greenhoward; sister, Parris Stephens; aunts, Theresa Crayton, LaToya Henderson, Shanequa Borens, Tre’Sha Ramsour, Cherrelle Williams, Shadarrian Brown, Shaquindalon Alexander, Sharie Brown and Rosheia Hodge; uncles, Chakiris Henderson, Terrance Crayton, Deshaun Oaks and Robert Crowder; special friend, Kamille Burks, and a host of deeply loved family and friends.
