David Anthony Johnson Jr.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of David Anthony Johnson Jr. on the morning of December 27, 2022. He was a devoted son, brother, and honorable U.S. Marine veteran and truck driver.

Born on May 27th, 1968, David immediately filled the lives of those around him with joy. He graduated high school in 1987 from Leesville High School in Louisiana and went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military career, he began a new life married to the road as a freight truck driver - where we all know he loved to be.

David was passionate about traveling, living life on his terms, a good Harley bike, his yearly hunting trips with his Uncle John and Gran Gran, and most importantly, his love for his family.

He was the greatest brother to sisters Joyce and Janice, and brothers Terry and Jerry. David was a loving uncle to his nieces Niki, Angel, Jackie, Ivory and Shanon.

He is survived by his parents, Joy and David, grandfather Frank Bingham, and many more family and friends from coast to coast.

David’s presence is sorely missed, and his loss is deeply felt. We love and miss him already.
