Deborah Lynn Jansen

Deborah Lynn Jansen passed away from this earth on February 14, 2021. She was born October 10, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Deborah had 3 siblings Ray, James, and Brenda all  preceded her in death. 

Deborah served in the Army from 1974-1978. Her service took her to Germany as a military police officer.

After the military she lived in Crocker, Missouri with her husband Lawrence and beloved daughter Laura. Laura Nicole Jansen passed away on August 25, 2015, breaking Deborah's heart.

She came to Longview in late 2015 to be with family. Deborah found recovery here and was a faithful member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She lived 5 years, 4 months and 7 days of sobriety. She loved 'trudging this road with her abnormal friends'. She has gone to her Happy Destiny.

Deborah is survived by sister-in-law Laura Kennedy and nieces Stefanie and Kallie all of Longview, Texas. 

In lieu of flowers, it was Deborah's request that donations be made to Central Service Office of alcoholics Anonymous, 3800 Paluxy Suite 401 Tyler, Texas.
