Delbert was born in Harrison County to L.C Mack and Mary D. Davis. In September 11, he transitioned to be with the Lord. Delbert attended W.C Womack High ISD in Longview, Texas. Delbert gladly accepted Christ at early age with spiritual affiliation at Oaks True Holiness under Pastor Dan Rivers of South Carolina. Even during his illness, he shall praise God. He loved singing, He’s sweet I know and I found the Lord one day.
Delbert resided in South Carolina area for 50 plus years, until his health failed him, and he returned home. He loved watching Family Feud, playing cards, especially feeding that healthy appetite. His favorite saying was "what you got for me" ; meaning sweets. Delbert was a kind loving, caring person that gave us a lot of laughs. Delbert will greatly be missed!
Delbert Mack was preceded in death by both his parents, grandparents; bother Alvin Davis, and two nephews. He leaves to cherish his memories, brother Freddie Davis (Emmie), sisters Shirley Willis, Shirley Winn, Mildred Goodall (Troy), Uncle Theo Willis. Jr (Birdie), Aunts Geneva Conner, and Lena Willis, nephews Marquel Drayden, Brandon Davis, Greg Jackson, Terry Buchanan (Loretta), Jimmy (Jennie) Buchanan, Tony Buchanan, James Buchanan (Necey); nieces Tamisha Jackson, Pamela Buchanan, Mary Buchanan and a host of other relatives.
