Precious Memories…
Domonique Renae Marshall was born on March 5, 1999. She did not come into this world alone. You would never know that she is the older, but twenty-five minutes apart proves it. There was always someone there to speak for her, even when she did not want him to. She was always a little bit quiet and shy until she wasn’t. That happened after they were separated in school and she found her voice. During her school days she played tennis and sang in the school’s choir. She often sang around the house and we received free concerts without paying the cover charge. She loved working in the nursery at church. The kids adored her and she loved the kids. Even during most family reunions, you could always find a little person on her hip. She was a very creative soul who loved to draw and make beautiful things. She was commissioned to make art for others and enjoyed the challenge of doing new things. She was an avid gamer who was thrilled to stream her activities. You would never guess that gaming is not a contact sport. It can get very aggressive and intense.
On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Domonique closed her eyes on this plain of existence and opened them to a world filled with all the colors and wonder of the beautiful artwork she created. She was welcomed there into the arms of her grandfather, Reverend Johnny Marshall. She will be greatly missed and always remembered by all those who had the pleasure to know and love her. There will always be songs and movies that will make us smile a little harder thinking of her.
Those blessed to treasure her memories: her mother, Juquita Marshall; twin brother, Dante Marshall; grandmother, Mary Marshall; uncle, Nicholas Marshall; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
