Eddie Lee Carter

Eddie Lee Carter, was born July 23, 1959 in Longview, Texas. He is the son of Augustus Carter and Goldene Thompson Carter.

He attended Longview High School. Eddie worked for Horaneys for more than 30 years. Mr. Carter is remembered as a dedicated father, husband, and brother who genuinely loved his family. He was a hard-working man who made sure his family was cared for.

Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Teresa Johnson; grand daughter, Jessica Givens; sisters, Sandra Johnson and Barbara Carter; and brother, Ronnie Carter.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Grace Ann Carter; son, Eddie M. Johnson ( Elizabeth); two sisters, Trina Cox (Greg) of Longview Texas, Mona Williams (Kirk) of Longview Texas, Bobby Ray Carter of Longview Texas, Charles Carter Sr. (Lorrie) of Houston Texas, and Augustus Carter Jr of Arlington Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
