Gracie Ann Session Chumbley, was born March 25,1958, in Jacksonville, Texas to Pauline Tucker Warren and Ham Harold Warren Jr. She attended school at Jacksonville ISD.
Gracie resided in Shelbyville, Texas for 40+ years, where she was a member of East Hamilton Baptist Church. She worked in healthcare at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Nacogdoches, Texas for 20 years until early retirement. She then became a bails bondman for 4 Aces Bail Bonds in Center, Texas, where she was employed until her departure.
Gracie lived a life of service. She helped any and every one she met. "No" was never a word in her vocabulary. She became “Momma Grace” or “Ms. Make it Happen” to the entire community. Gracie was the best mom, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend that you could have in your corner.
Gracie is preceded in death by her mom, Pauline Tucker Warren; dad, Ham Harold Warren Jr.; husband, Charlie Chumbley; and two brothers and two sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Kenneth Boyd Jr., Kendrick Boyd (Chelle), Demetrus (Albert) Smith, and Jamica Bennett; stepsons, Claudia Chumbley, Charles Chumbley, and Anthony (Dean) Chumbley; siblings, Rose Warren, Alice Warren, and David (Peggy) Warren Sr.; her only surviving aunt, Clara;16 grandchildren, a host of great grands, nieces and nephews, two very special young men, that had her heart and will forever cherish her memory, JaMon Lindsey and JaBrayden Simpson.
Someone you could call and depend on to help Mama Grace with no hesitation, Andrea Cartwright (granddaughter), Ty Wagner Jr (grandson), and Synolin Clark (niece).
