Guadalupe Saenz Ramirez

Guadalupe Ramirez was born on 10-13-1944 in Hebbronville TX. “Lou” or “Lupe” as he was known grew up in South Texas and attended school there. He was the son of a Southern Baptist preacher and the oldest of 5. Lupe served in the U.S. Army and retired from Tyler Pipe Industries. He enjoyed spending time with his family as well as his dogs. He enjoyed life and took each day as it came. 

He leaves many memories to be cherished by his wife Mary Ramirez and children Richard Ramirez, Yvonne (Bonnie) & Mark Brenton, Irene Ramirez, Erica & Alfonso Ponce, Yvette & Jose Ortega. His brothers: Ralph Ramirez, Amado Iglesias, Eleazar (Eli) Iglesias, Danny (Julio) Iglesias and Jose Luis Iglesias. He also leaves 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his parents MH and Eva Iglesias, and daughter JoAnn Gonzales. 

Lupe will be missed dearly by all of those who loved and knew him. 

He departed his earthly body on Monday September 6, 2021.
