Harvell Horton, Jr., also known as Skeet, was born to Harvell Horton Sr. and Earline Davis on July 6, 1967 in Longview, Texas; he was the youngest of their 5 sons.
Harvell accepted Christ at an early age and was known for being smart, generous, and kind to whomever he befriended. He was also known for his good looks and genuine charming personality! Harvell graduated from Fenger High School in, Chicago, IL, at the top of his graduating class and received several offers and scholarships for college.
He faithfully served with Milton Portley, Sr., during the latter years of his life, doing landscaping, handy work, repairs, and services in the local community of Longview, Texas. Harvell had been athletic, loved fishing, and watching his 49ers play during the regular season. He was a handy and loyal worker, brother, uncle, and a good friend; he genuinely loved his family and was loved by all who knew him.
On Saturday, December 25, 2021, Harvell went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; he is preceded in death by his mother and father.
He leaves his 5 brothers, Harvey Lee, Earnest, Alton, Johnny and Jason; 3 sisters, Monica, Sherrie, and Tamekia; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and beloved cousins to cherish his memory.
