Jimmie Lee Jones, 78, a native of Longview, Texas born on March 2, 1940 to Mr. Frank and Mrs. Issie Jones, Sr. A proud recipient of a General Education Development from Kilgore College in Longview, Texas. Ms. Jones accepted Christ at an young age, baptized, and exercised her faith daily with the people in her community. Faithful member and worker in the ministry of Bethel Temple Church in Longview, Texas.

Ms. Jones was a loving, kind, and caretaker for many from rather it was a meal, living with her during time of need, to even being a spiritual mother or grandmother anything that anyone need you could always come by her home and be at home. In work history, she worked in culinary in the school district as well as in catering, and sold food in her neighborhood. She is preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Issie Jones, Sr. Two sisters; Frankie Sanders, Merlyn McMiller. Four brothers; Alton Jones, Norman Jones, James Jones, Eddie Jones. One son; Sterling Jones, and One daughter; Lawanza Jones.

Ms. Jones leaves to cherish her memories three son(s); Frank (Keisha) Jones of Dallas, Texas, Willie (Robin) Jones of Tyler, Texas, James (Cathy) Jones of Longview, Texas. Two daughter(s) Rochelle (Thomas) Anderson of Longview, Texas, Jennifer (Tommy) Jones of Longview, Texas. 17 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Two Sister(s); Ervie Brooks of Longview, Texas and Thelma Royal of Longview, Texas. Brother(s); John (Vernita) Jones of Longview, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
