Life Reflections
Jose Mojica Jr., was born on October 29,1985 to Jose Mojica and Carmen Flores, in the city of roses, Tyler, Texas.
During his younger years, he attended both Tyler Independent School District and Chapel Hill Independent School District. Growing up in the countryside was one of the great joys of his life, he loved being outdoors and always had a project to work on. A natural handyman, he could fix just about anything under the hood of a vehicle and had a talent for bodywork, often finishing his repairs with a flawless paint job.
A devoted fan of college football, he had a sharp eye for talent and always knew which players to watch come draft season. On game days, he could be found cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. His passion for sports extended beyond the screen, he took great pride in coaching Team Attack with the Tyler Soccer Association. He loved those boys like his own and pushed them to grow, to strive for excellence, and to never give up.
He had a gift for making people feel like family. Whether it was a quick hello or a visit that turned into hours of conversation, he always made time for those he cared about. His kindness and presence reached beyond his family into the community. He also enjoyed attending services at Green Acres Baptist Church on Sundays with his son, Anthony.
He was not only a beloved father, friend, and mentor, but also a man whose generosity and heart touched many.
