Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free, I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call: I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day; To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found my place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too shall miss.

Perhaps my life seemed all too brief: Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me; God wanted me now, He set me free.

​Mister Joshua Choate was born on November 28, 2001 and departed this life in December 6, 2021. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. under the pavilion in the gardens of Jordan Valley Memorial Park, 810 Jordan Valley Road, Longview, Texas. Immediately following the viewing, a memorial service will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.
