Kelly Ladonna Methvin born January 12, 1972 in Longview, Texas and a 1990 graduate of Longview HIgh School.
Kelly was the daughter of Tim and Donna Langston and the oldest of three siblings: Timmy, Holli and Tiffini.
She was married on March 4, 1990 to Larry Randolph Methvin. During 31 years of marriage she and Larry raised 4 children: Garrett, Landon, Nathan, and Hannah. Kelly's boys lived on a ball field and she was known as the 'baseball' mom. Many boys have stood at the plate and heared her voice boom in excitement across the field over the years. Hannah switched to volleyball and soccer and Kelly continued to live in the stands being the biggest fan of her girl.
Then Garrett married Leighchele in 2010, Kelly gained her first 'Daughter-in-Love' and she gained her second in 2019 when Nathan married Haylee. Garrett and Leighchele had four kids that turned Kelly into Besh; Elijah, Lilly, Adileigh, and Asher.
'BESH" loved her time with her grands and Wednesday nights became Besh and Pappy night. She was looking forward to seeing her 5th grand, Lincoln Coy who will be here in December from Nathan and Haylee.
One of her favorite traditions included cinnamon roll Saturday morning dates with her 'Booch' during football season. She and Larry would watch College Game Day on ESPN and college football all throughout the day, but especially the SEC and especially her Razorbacks. "Honey Booch" as Larry called her, had recently enjoyed anniversary trips to Southwest Texas for bed and breakfast and the beautiful Bluebonnet Hill Country .
Kelly's favorite trip of all time came on her 40th Birthday trip to Italy with Larry. She celebrated her 40th in Florence and returned home with a newly discovered JOY from the experience. She talked for months about the art, architecture, wine, coffee and of course the GRAPPA!
As a wife she was the most loyal companion Larry could have ever dreamed of. As a mom she loved so fiercely that her kids and anyone who knew her, knew without a doubt that she was their number one fan and she would drive across the continental U.S. for a ball game.
As BESH she cared deeply so deeply that she would sprint through the woods barefoot in a sundress at the sound of a grandchild crying. As a sibling she was the big sister who never failed to show up for her sisters and brother. As a daughter she honored and represented her parents with everything she was and made them proud everyday. It didn't matter if you were a stranger or a friend, if she knew you, she would be there and she would LOVE BIG!
Her smile was as BIG as TEXAS and she will always be remembered by that brilliant smile.
