Echoes of a Life Well Lived
Kendrick Jerome Brantley was born to Nancy and Thomas Brantley on May 22, 1980, in Tyler, TX. He graduated from John Tyler High School and then briefly attended
Tyler Junior College . Kendrick worked at Braum’s for several years and then moved on to Trane where he was able to retire early. Kendrick enjoyed working with people
and he would often tell funny stories about events that happened at his job. He kept us laughing with foolish shenanigans and how he contributed.
Growing up, Kendrick liked playing video games, listening to music, watching TV, movies and spending time with his family. He was a good cook, baker and a spades player. He also wasn’t too bad at dominoes, which he proved quite often during family holiday gatherings. At John Tyler High he was a member of the band, and he took pride in this role that he played.
Kendrick resided in Tyler all his life and over time he gained a good friend circle. His neighbors loved him, and he was a good father to his son Keke. He was an active Facebook member and wasn’t afraid to share his feelings or thoughts with his Facebook
family.
Finally, Kendrick was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Brantly, father, Thomas Brantley, brother, Steve Johnson, aunt, Alice Crawford, grandmother, Charlie B. Biggs and grandfather, Frank Biggs.
