Lubedia Brown, 71, of Columbus Ohio transitioned to be with the Lord on June 8, 2022, at her home in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born, to the late Abraham and Willie Mae Scott in Jacksonville, TX, on March 5, 1951. She joined the US Army in 1970, and moved to Columbus Ohio to attend Aenon Bible College in 1977; where she met her husband Herbert L. Brown, Jr. and was married on May 6, 1978. Together they had 3 children. She had a love for sewing and pursued a career as a seamstress.
She was a member of Grace Apostolic Church, under the leadership of Bishop James Gaiters, in Columbus, OH, where she spent her time as a Sunday School teacher, on the Usher Board, and served in multiple ministries at the church as well as a member of the PAW Organization. She served as a committed servant for the Lord.
Lubedia was survived by her husband Herbert Lee Brown Jr, her 2 daughters; Faith Brown, and Amanda Brown, and one and only son, David Brown all of Columbus, OH. She was a loving grandmother to Aryanna-Abrielle Brown, Isaiah Maye, Adeyah Brown, Malyia Maye, and Josh Maye, and 1 great-grandchild; Na'Myra Maye, sister Verna (Clarence Sr.) Hightower of Wichita Falls, and brother James Scott of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by parents Abraham and Willie Mae Scott, brothers L. Arthur Scott, Jacob Scott, and Terry Scott.
Lubedia loved her family and cherished all her nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family.
