Lydia Guijarro

Lydia Esquivel Guijarro, was born March 12,1957, in Brownsville, Texas to Ofelia Zapata and Guadalupe Esquivel. She went to be home with the Lord on September 19, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Lydia was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She never found a stranger and had the biggest heart, full of love to give. She was always ready and willing to help anyone that needed it. Lydia was a true irreplaceable blessing and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Those left to cherish Lydia are her three children, Sonia and Donnie Tribble of White Oak, Texas, Estela and Jose Estrada of Hallsville, Texas, and Rey and Yvonne Guijarro of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Luis and Jose (Joe) Esquivel; and her numerous nieces and nephews that she loved as her own. Lydia's heart was full of love for all of her grandchildren, Lydia, Cobi, Zoe, Emiliano, Leonel, Melanie, and Jay; and one great-grandson, Brody.

Lydia's favorite bible verse was, "But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
