Mr. Marcellus Elder, Jr., was born January 7, 1986, in Tyler, Texas, to Marcellus Allen and Emma Jean Elder. Marcellus was affectionately known by his family and friends as "Dudda".
Dudda was a 2004 graduate from Frankston High School. He enjoyed picking up sticks, beating on buckets, spending time with family, and drinking any kind of fruity soda he could get a hold of.
Mr. Elder attended Pine Springs Baptist Church in Frankston, Texas and later attended Full Gospel Pentacostal Church in Frankston, Texas.
In the early hours on the morning of Monday, July 19, 2021, in the comfort of his home with family, Dudda peacefully went to be the Lord. Waiting for him at the gates of Heaven were his brother, Cornelius Allen; Big Momma, Hettie V. Allen; grandfather, L.A. Allen; and other relatives.
Dudda will be missed by many, those who will miss him the most are his parents, Marcellus and Alfreda Allen; sisters, Amanda (Bre) Brooks, Angela Elder, Talena Elder, Beatrice Elder, Demetris Elder, Jasmine Elder, Andrea Elder, and Donshanique Elder; brothers, Maurice Allen, Martez Allen, Cornelius Elder, Laquintis Elder, and Deril Elder; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A special 'Thank You' to the late Berstina Black, Mark Hill, nurse Ferlin Blood and nurse Shelly Brian both of Avana Health Center, and the doctors and nurses of Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas for all your love and support during the care of our Marcellus Elder Jr.
