The Sweet Life Story of Margaret Sue Lilly

Ms. Margaret Sue Lilly, was born May 28, 1954, in Longview, Texas to Hollis and Tommie Lilly. Margaret attended Longview public schools and received an Associates from Kilgore College. She is preceded in death by both parents, brothers. Jesse Johnson, William Tolbert Sr., and Willie Earl Lilly; sisters, Maxine Vance, Doris Sibley, Gladys King, and Wilma Redden.

Margaret spent her earlier years working in the food industry. She was a wonderful cook that passed down many traditions, that will be kept close and cherished deeply. She also worked as a Nurses Aid at Good Shephard Medical Center for a few years, until her health forced her to stop working. Margaret was always sweet, loving, and kind. She loved spending time with family and friends or talking to them on the phone. She enjoyed playing arcade games on her iPad. No matter what she was going through she always greeted you with her kind smile. Everyone that met her truly loved her sweet spirit. She is loved and will be terribly missed by many.

She is survived by brother, Edward Johnson of Los Angeles, California; daughters, Ms. Terry Lilly and Ms. Mellissa Lilly; son, Corey Lilly; granddaughters, Mrs. Destinee Cook and Peyton Baker; grandson, Devante Cox; 2 great granddaughters, Aailiyah and Aamarii Cox; her very dear sweet friend, Christy Warren; her life partner, for many years, Mr. Kennie Oliver; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; and her beloved cats, Miracle, Pikachu, Sasha, and Lady.
