Her faithfulness to Christ lead Mary to form the gospel group, the Singing Sisters in the early 70s. For three decades, they traveled to many states using their voices to praise God in song.

Mary worked as a sales associate, at Dillard’s department store, for over 20 years where she was a top performer; earning multiple Pacesetter sales awards. After retirement, Mary became a business owner (Hair Images Salon-Longview, TX), and she continued to maintain her devotion to servitude. She was an active and current member of Union Church of Christ (Longview, Texas). Mary leaves a legacy of always putting God first, serving others with a humble, sincere, and compassionate spirit.
