My name is Maryanne Harris Bradford. I was born to Laverne Harris Sr. and Fetta Harris. My journey began in Longview, Texas September 16, 1963. There, I grew up in Pleasant Hill with my two sisters and six brothers. I joined and was baptized at Hebron Baptist Church at an early age. I was affiliated with Harris Chapel Church of Christ. I was a cafe cook for Longview ISD schools and Neiman Marcus. In my free time I enjoyed cooking, fishing, shopping, working in my yard and my spending time with my family.
I am preceded in death by my parents, my oldest daughter, LaTressa Harris, sister, Lillie Marie Harris and brother Leonard Harris.
I am survived by my husband, Clarence Bradford of Longview, Tx.; 2 daughters, Traci [Sherwon] Black and LaTrenia Williams; 1 son, Antonio [Teleka] Williams; 14 grandkids; 1 great-grandson; 1 sister, Lillie [Grady Jr.] Mae Dixon; 5 brothers, Laverne [BeBe] Jr., Bobby Ray, Amos, and Michael Sr. all of Longview, Tx. and Charles of Austin, Tx; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
I lived a successful life and after 58 years of being here, my journey has ended on December 24, 2021 at my home in Longview, Tx.
My life on earth is over and I'm resting now in the arms of Jesus. I am surrounded by the loved ones who have gone on before me; do not grieve for me, be happy. After 58 years I have fought the fight, ran the race and reached the finish line. I will be waiting for you all....Maryanne
