Mazie (Fedoll) Crayton was born on December 11, 1940, to the late Major Fuller and Lessie B. Smith Fuller. She was the fifth of six children and received her education in the Hallsville Public Schools.
Mazie united with Christ at an early age and was a faithful and dedicated member of Northside Church of Christ. She was a gifted seamstress who found joy in sewing and creating for others.
On August 4, 1960, Mazie was united in holy matrimony to Curley “Beatsy” Crayton. To this union, two children were born.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Curley Crayton; her parents, Major and Lessie B. Fuller; one brother, James “Buddy” Fuller; and two sisters, Dolly Waffer and Nettie Linvel.
Mazie leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Michael Crayton of Hallsville and Buren Wilder, Sr. of Longview; her daughters, Wykennia Crayton Wilder of Arlington and Larita (“Sha”) Hurd Russell of Hallsville; her sisters, Judy Nichols of Hallsville and Lurie Taylor of Longview; nine grandchildren, J’Vonte (Kayla) Crayton of Hallsville, Tristin Crayton (Keisha Wallace) of Marshall, Buren Wilder, Jr. (BJ) of Arlington, Jecori Crayton (Cydni Campbell) of Hallsville, Macailyn Wilder (Breonika) of Hallsville, and Ta’Lure Wilder of Houston; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
