Meechie Darnell Wiley Johnson

In loving memory of Meechie Darnell Johnson, a loving mother of not only two sons, but to many. Meechie’s smile warmed the heart of anyone it landed on. She has touched the lives of many and is dearly loved. Remember her spirit and carry her joy with you daily as strength. She has fulfilled her earthly duties and is now at rest. 

Ms. Meechie Johnson was born September 8, 1976, in Longview, Texas to Charles Ray Johnson and Lueola Crayton. After the death of her father at 8 years old, Meechie helped raise her siblings while her mother worked. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized upon the confession of her faith. 

Meechie graduated from Longview High School in 1995 and Vista College as a medical assistant in 2012. She was united in Holy Matrimony in 1997. She birthed two bouncing baby boys in the years 1998 and 1999. Meechie worked hard to provide the best life in her will for her sons and her hard work shows through them. Though the road was tough along the way for Meechie, she stayed optimistic and showed great strength. No matter the situation or circumstance, Meechie gave everything her all.  Meechie was a warrior and fought a long tough fight. God has now called her name and she is now at peace. 

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Ray Johnson and brother Bobby Coleman.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Jerome Wiley, Jr. (Fiance- Tiara Bullock) and DaQuaylon Wiley; Mother, Lueola Crayton; Sisters, Lanetra Crayton and Shemika Crayton, Brothers, Bertram Johnson and Brady (Adrian) Johnson; and her unborn granddaughter Serenity Jorde’ Wiley.

She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends
