Melony D Houston

Melony Danyell Houston was born on July 21, 1971, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carrol Daniel Houston; her mother, Mary Ann; her siblings, Steven Grey and Courtney Amy Cagle; her grandfather, D.S. Houston; and her grandmother, L.A. Fern.

Melony is survived by her children, Daniel Monday, James Dylan Houston, Mackenzie Houston, and Melanie Monday, as well as her cherished daughter-in-law. She was the proud grandmother of eight: Braylin, Jaxson, Isabella, Jordyn, Harper, Noah, Callie, and Conner.

Melony was a caring and compassionate mother, grandmother, and friend. Even through life’s hardships, she had a remarkable way of bringing people together. Her kindness, warmth, and love touched all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.
