Melvin Skinner, Jr.

Melvin Skinner, Jr. was born on September 2, 1946, in the small town of Houma, Louisiana to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Skinner, Sr. Melvin became a member of the Brookhaven Church of Christ under Brother P.E. Stewart.

Melvin was a proud graduate of Jack Bates in Houston, Texas class of 1975.

He is preceded in death by his father Melvin Skinner, Sr., Mother Minnie Ola Jackson, and sister Dorothy Jean Grimes.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memories, wife Willie Ruth Skinner, two sons Melvin Skinner, III and Melvin Jerome Moore; granddaughters Tajah Kiyyana Skinner and Kalin Tacarra Skinner; grandson Nicholas Ellis, and a special daughter-in-law / caregiver Delaine Flecher, and a host of 5 brother-in-law’s, 5 sister-in-law’s, nieces, nephews, and many more relatives.
