Miguel Garcia Obituary

Miguel Mike Garcia passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 1:55pm. He had been in the hospital since November 13, 2021, and although he fought the illness that sent him to the hospital, his body could not overcome the aftermath of everything.

He was born and raised in Tyler, Texas on December 5th, 1986 to mother, Maria Rodriguez. He was the second youngest among 4 siblings. He attended and graduated from John Tyler also known now as Tyler High School. He went on to work for UT Health East Texas, and his sister's restaurants "Mi Cocinita". He was always so helpful and had the biggest heart anyone could have. A gentle giant of a man who was always making everyone laugh and made working in the family business a more joyful experience.

When Miguel was not working, he was a proud father to two beautiful daughters, Natallie and Izzy Garcia. He would always brag about his girls who were his whole world as well as his family. He was always talking about whatever football game was on, how bad the Dallas Cowboys were losing, or the latest fight on TV. He had several nieces and nephews that were sometimes more like his own kids, and to them he was like an older brother.

Miguel was such a family-oriented man, who was always there with open arms and ready to give his all for anyone who needed it. He was an uncle, a son, adoring father, a good brother, and an amazing friend. Anyone who got the chance to meet him could tell you what an amazing man he truly was.

Those he left behind are to carry out his amazing legacy: his two daughters, Natalie and Izzy; his mother, Maria and stepfather Bernardo; his sisters, Rachel and Wendy; his brothers, Oliver and Jose; and his many nieces, and nephews, and other cousins, and close family friends whom he loved.
