Minnie Cook was born on November 20, 1932, to the late Allen and Lemon Richardson.
Minnie was employed at Good Shepherd Hospital for the dietary department for 31 years, where she later retired February 9, 2000. After retiring she became a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to the family, as well as the neighborhood “Mudear”. That is what she was called by many that knew her. Mrs. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Agie Cook Sr; brother, R.D Richardson; sisters, Glordean Edinbury and Leola Rose; daughters, Brenda Richardson and Patricia Richardson Love; and grandson, Arledge Richardson; great grandson, Isiah Craven; and sister in law, Erma Richardson.
Loving memories will be cherished by her sons, Rev. Derrick (Cheryl) Richardson, Minster Agie Cook Jr, Fredrick Richardson, Bert Richardson, and Stepson, Charlie Cook; Daughters, Janet Richardson, Inas Richardson, Lavarra (Patrick) Raspberry. 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and a host of many nieces, nephews, a special friend, Frank Colbert; a special nephew Timothy Richardson, special and dear friend for many years to the family Mark Simmons Sr, and a host of other friends.
