Patricia Ann Givens

Ms. Patricia Ann Givens, born October 19, 1946, peacefully passed away on May 17, 2025.

Patricia's vibrant personality, generous spirit, and wonderful humor touched many lives. She actively participated in Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church, where she lent her beautiful voice to the choir. Patricia received her education at Mary C. Womack High School. Before her retirement, she dedicated her career to helping others as a healthcare worker.

Patricia was a remarkable mother and grandmother, affectionately known as "Granny" to her cherished grandchildren. 

She now joins her parents, Willie Dee Givens and Edna Pauline Figures Givens, her daughter Carolyn Ann Hunter, and her sister Helen Stewart, all of whom preceded her in death.

She leaves a loving legacy to her children: Willie Lee Givens (Barbara), Robbie Lynn Givens Austin (Mark), and Jacqueline Evette Givens Mitchell (Heath). Her sisters, Wanda Hudson (Tina) and Barbara Givens (Lisa). Patricia's memory lives on through her grandchildren: Corderra Hunter, Jasmine Austin, Latoya Givens, Heath D. Mitchell, Cameron Mitchell, Dakota Austin, and Jordon Austin, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. She also leaves behind her special friend, Mr. James Jones.

Her children share, "Mom, you will remain in our hearts forever. We love and miss you dearly. Rest well, Ms. Patricia."
