Mr. Paul Edward Anderson, was born on March 1, 1930, in DeBerry, Texas to Bob and Zella (Cole) Anderson.
Paul attended Turner High School, before entering into the military. He was a soldier in the U.S. Army, stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, from 1951 until 1953. After serving time in the Army, he went back to school to obtain his High School Diploma. After receiving his High School Diploma he became a bus driver for Carthage ISD, working there for 14 years. Mr. Anderson was a man of many talents; in the 1970’s he ran a small salvage yard where he fixed cars and sold cars, also overseeing a cafe. From 1980 until 1994 Mr. Anderson worked for the Panola County Road and Bridge Company, at the conclusion of his time with this company, he retired.
Paul was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, until his time of passing.
On the morning of Monday, September 13, 2021, God saw fit to bring Mr. Anderson home to be with Him. Those who have gone on before him include his loving wife, Idale B. Anderson; parents, Bob and Zella (Cole) Anderson; and his siblings, Lonnie, Wilson, Daisy, LM, Jesse, Rosie, Earl, and Edith.
Paul is survived by his sons, Benjamin (Monica) Anderson, Warren Anderson, Hubbie George, Dewight Robinson, and Larry (Jennifer)Ingram; daughters, Faustine (Rod) Singleton, Barbara (Oliver) Hicks, and Diane Davis; best friend, Fred Porter; special friend ,Betty Henderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
