Press "Pistol" Calhoun

Mr. Press "Pistol" Calhoun, was born on December 7, 1952, to the parentage of the late Willie and Limmie Lee Calhoun. He took his journey to his Heavenly Home on June 28, 2020 at Highland Pines Nursing Facility.

Press attended Panola schools and graduated from Panola High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Carthage, Tx. He loved riding his bicycle that he considered to be his Cadillac. He was known by many as the "Life of the Party".

Press was preceded in death by his brothers Raymond, J.W, Willie Jr., and Lorenzo Calhoun.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories 7 sisters, Lula M. Calhoun, Lessie B. Calhoun, Linnie Gallow, Willie Mae Calhoun, Almary Smith, Mary Stinson, and Lisa Barryer; a Special friend/brother, Calvin Barryer; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
