Quincy Lamar Hunter, was born August 6, 1975, to Demoris Hunter and Berline Anderson, in Jacksonville, Texas. After fighting a courageous battle of cancer, God saw fit to give Quincy rest on April 15, 2023.
Upon graduating high school, in 1994, he began to work full-time at Talyho Plastics; until he became disabled due to a hand injury. Quincy had a love for being active and being outside, he enjoyed trapping coons, fishing, working on cars, hunting, and helping family members. He was a fan of America's Football Team, The Dallas Cowboys!
Quincy accepted Christ, as his Lord and Savior, at an early age and was untied with the Pennel Chapel C.M.E Church in Jacksonville, Texas.
Those who remain to cherish the life and legacy of Quincy are his father, Demoris (Patricia) Hunter; mother, Berline (Clynell) Anderson; son, Nathan Maxwell; sister, Martina Boyd; nephew, Quaderrick Boyd; two grandchildren, Treshaun Griffith and London Maxwell; Four Aunts, Louise (Travis) Porter, Annie (Gerald) Porter, Wanda Hunter and Ruby Hinton: and two Uncles J.B Mallard and Grady Hunter; and a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
