Sheila Ann Woolridge

Ms. Sheila Ann Woolridge, 61, of Longview, Texas, was born December 28, 1959 to Emzie and Esther Woolridge. Ms. Sheila was a long life resident of Longview, Texas.

Ms. Sheila united with the Mason Springs Baptist Church at an early age. She later moved her membership to Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where she remained until her passing. At Mount Calvary Baptist not only was she a faithful member, but she served as the Musician and Choir Director for over 30 years.

Ms. Sheila attended Longview Independent School District and was a graduate with the class of 1978. While in high school she was member of "The BIG Green Marching Machine", playing the saxophone. After graduating high school, she went to Kilgore College and received an Associates Degree; while at Kilgore College she was a member of the marching band.

In the late evening of Friday, July 23, 2021, God appointed Sis. Sheila to be the new director of the Heavenly Choir. There waiting to welcome her at the gates of Heaven were her parents, Emzie and Esther Woolridge; and grandson, Tyler Woolridge. 

Precious memories will be cherished by her daughter, Erica Woolridge; two sons, David (Keant'e) Woolridge and  Adrian Woolridge; brothers, Earnest (Cynthia) Woolridge and Darcy (Cathy) Woolridge; the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Zacarius, Kearra, Devvyn, Tevvyn, Marcel, and Mar'Cavian; two aunts, two uncles, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and three special cousins, Candice Johnson, Rosalyn Cantue, and Lavonda Guice.
