Theresa Jackson Obituary

Mrs. Theresa Brewster Jackson was born on June 10, 1972, in Longview, Texas, to the parents of Shelia Brewster and Ray Harris.

She attended Longview High School and was a faithful member of Impact Church under the leadership of Pastor Randy Ross. Theresa worked in many places throughout her life, but she dedicated 10 years of service to Catfish Village and most recently worked at MG Foods for 4 years, where she became like family to her co-workers until her departure.

Theresa was a woman with a kind spirit, a giving heart, and a deep love for her family. She never met a stranger and was known for her laughter, her strength, and the way she cared for those around her. Her presence brought joy, and her life was a true example of resilience, love, and faith.

God called her home, and she peacefully transitioned, in the comfort of her own home, from this life into eternal rest. Theresa was preceded in death by her grandmother, Faye Brewster, and her grandson, Jayden Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Marque Jackson; her mother, Shelia Brewster; one sister, Ikiesha Brewster; one nephew, Bronqual Burkes; three loving children, LaShell Kenney, Rayshaun Nelson, and Mechelle Brewster; one goddaughter, Latriece Mayfield; six precious grandchildren, Aayana, Jahlea, Maylaysia, Kevin, Karisma, and Ketrell; along with a host of cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Though Theresa has departed this earthly life, her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to live on through her family and all those blessed to have known her.
