Virginia Fernandez Rodriguez was born on May 21, 1955 in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas Mexico to Guadalupe Cerda and Lino Rodriguez.

Her spiritual affiliation is Catholic.

She loved being with family, and she never missed a birthday party, unless she was ill. Virginia loved to travel with her husband, playing Mexican Loteria, and scratch off tickets and talking on the phone with family and friends. She was the kind of lady that would give up a plate of food and give to others, she was very kind and loving and will be missed by many that knew her.

Virginia is survived by her husband Jesus Fernandez; daughters Alma Fernandez and Mireya Fernandez; son Humberto Fernandez; grand-daughter's Ilse Ovalle, Nesvy Moreno, Jaden Solis, Kelcey Solis, Alondra Solis; grandson Carlos Moreno Jr., Jesus Moreno, Jose Angel Fernandez, Israel Ovalle Jr., and Gael Fernandez; Mother Guadalupe Cerda; Sisters Tomasa Rivera, Idolina Gonzalez, Francisca Tovar and Bennie Maldonado, and a host of other relatives and friends.
