Wade Lee Patton left a legacy of love and affection with those who he touched. He was a generous and loving person who did all he could to enjoy life to its fullest.

On October 15, 2023, he was called home to be with the Lord. Wade was one of those beautiful people who left a mark on your memory, and a smile on your face, whenever you remembered. Wade never met a stranger, and everyone knew him. He will be truly missed.

Wade, son of the late John Patton and Doney Bell Patton was born July 29, 1949. Wade Patton Sr. and Charlotte Patton were joined together in holy matrimony and remained together for over thirty (30) years. Wade was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Patton; parents, Doney Bell and John Patton Sr.; and sister, Luvern Morrow. He leaves none to mourn, but these to cherish his memories, Bertha Morrow, Ina Peoples, John Patton Jr., David Patton, Katie Hatten (Billy), and Bellam Patton. 

He left behind to cherish his memories, three daughters and one son, Shawntay Chadwick (Chris Baxter), Shanicki Carter (Terence Carter), Barbara Davis, and Wade Patton Jr. (Deidra Bray). Wade also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Ki’untrez O’Quinn, Jy’Christon Baxter, Jaqweshia Hayden, Du’Sharme Davis, Todjica Davis, Jaiya Carter, Jy’ron Carter, Jayvyn Carter, Jaelyne Patton, Kaeden Patton, Da’Quavion Patton, Tyree Patton, 6 great grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Jackie Valentine and Melissa Vance ; two brother-in-laws, Ray Russ(Choyce) and Micheal Russ, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
