Weshemia T. Christian, was born May 27, 1983, to the parentage of Deliah Turner and Edrick Meridy.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Galilee Baptist Church in Hallsville, Texas. She was a graduate of Hallsville High School and later attended Texas College in Tyler, Texas. While attending Texas College, Weshemia was a crowned the 'Sigma Sweetheart'. In 2004 she became the co-founder of NuPhi Nu incorporated. Weshemia received a degree in medical assistant at Vista College in Longview, Texas.
Weshemia passed away on March 20, 2022. She is preceded in death by her grandmother,vVera L. Christian; grandfather, Rufus McGee; and aunt, Ramona A. Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Tamara Prentice; child’s father, Prince Prentice; mother and stepfather, Deliah and Jimmy Turner; father, Edrick Meridy; grandmother, Annie (Tommy) Harris of Marianna, AR.; bonus family, Dr. Lamar (Tyra) F.
