William Christopher Clark, was born on September 7, 1976, in Longview, Texas, as the oldest twin by three minutes to Ruthie Gaut and William Clark. He departed this life on March 24, 2026.
William was a proud product of Longview ISD, where he attended local schools and later graduated from Longview Senior High School in 1996. Shortly after, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy at a young age.
He was a man of simple joys and deep appreciation for life. William loved spending time watching movies and cheering on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He also found peace and enjoyment in reading, often immersing himself in books that captured his interest.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Ruthie Gaut and William Clark; and his sister, Dorothy Clark.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted twin brother, Winston Clark; two nephews and a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
William will be remembered for his quiet strength, thoughtful nature, and the love he shared with those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
